Battlefield 3 - Entertainment - Video Games

Ever since the Battlefield series has been on the consoles, PC gamers have been wondering if they will ever get another dedicated 64 player Battlefield game for the PC. Obviously the PC made the Battlefield series what it is now, so PC gamers are looking for some game designed exclusively for their system.

There have not been too many details on Battlefield 3 yet, but it has been confirmed there will be one eventually. Buying Medal of Honor puts you on an exclusive beta tester list for Battlefield 3, but that's all that has been said so far. There has been a lot of speculation about what will be included in the game, but there has been very little to no confirmed features.

Many of the features that are speculated to be in the game will be the famous destructible environments from the Bad Company series, but even more improved. Many are hoping for a return to the 64 player games that gave Battlefield its fame in the early days of Battlefield 1942, and Battlefield 2.

The destructible environments are probably the most likely to be in Battlefield 3, as it has been well received by the general public, and critics have loved its inclusion in the Bad Company spin off series as well. However, the 64 players feature may or may not be included, and only time will tell whether this very anticipated feature will be included. There are also some rumors that the game will become even more large scale, like MAG on the PS3, with even more than 64 players. This would be a great feature, but again it is just a rumor.

News on the game will be regularly added by the DICE team, and we will finally learn the details of this elusive video game. Stay tuned!
