You may need to register at Money Tec to get access to the forums, but it's free as of this writing (Dec. 2004) Software If you need a free charting software (data feed for most currency pairs included) which supports the indicators used in this system, simply open a free currency trading demo account at http://fxdd.com to download the software right away. (I'm not an affiliate of this company) Direct link to the software overview: http://www.fxdd.com/tradingplatforms.htm When the demo account expires, simply open a new demo account by right clicking the "Accounts" folder, found on the left menu in Metatrader. You don't have to download the software again though. Here is a screenshot of the MetaTrader software, with the wma cross system set up. The color is a little darker (usually grey) than in the actual software, because of the snap-shot in .gif format. MT is simple, convenient to use, in my own experience. The best part is that it is quality, free software. http://forex-trading-resources.com/mt.gif To make things even more simple, if you decide to download the software, here is the wma cross template and Pivot Daily custom indicator included, which you can import directly into MetaTrader and thus have the wma cross system up in no time. In short, the Pivot lines gives accurate daily support and resistance areas for the currency pairs, dynamically updated from the last 24 hours period. To learn more about Pivots, use this phrase "pivot lines" in a Google search and you will get plenty of information about it. Peter Bain at forexmentor.com is an expert on Pivots and distributes a booklet on Forex trading with Pivots. Learn how the "big dogs" got rich trading currencies. How to import the template: When you have downloaded and installed the MetaTrader software, unzip the wma-cross.zip template file and copy the "bunny-cross.tpl" file to the profiles/templates folder found in the main FxDirectDealer software folder. I.e. C:/Programfiles/FxDirectDealer/profiles/templates or wherever the file location you choosed for the software. There are software updates, so the names used above may change. How to import the Pivot indicator: (found in the same zip file) Copy the "DetailPivotDaily.mql" file to the C:/Programfiles/FxDirectDealer/experts/indicators folder. Then, if MetaTrader is up and running, close it and re-start it. Then, to open the template, right click the i.e. "EURUSD" on the left menu and pick "Chart Window". Then right click on the chart that came up and pick "templates/open templates" on the menu. Then double click the "bunny-cross.tpl" file. There you are... the system should be ready. If the Pivot lines didn't show up on the chart, open the "Custom Indicators" folder on the left MetaTrader menu and double click the DetailPivotDaily file and the Pivot lines should then show up on the chart.
