The latest on the Asbury Partners re-development, Asbury Park Life, the Berkeley Carteret Hotel, Madison Marquette, Salt Water Beach Caf, Paramount Theatre, Casino, Convention Hall, Carousel, Palace, Stone Pony, new oceanfront luxury condos, Wesley Grove, North Beach, Esperanza, and great restaurants and nightclubs like Moonstruck, Empress, Bistro Ole, Carmines, and all great things in Asbury Park city life. Feel the pulse of the heartbeat of Asbury Park. The city is being reincarnated as the Jewel of the east coast. The improvement is continual and visible with each passing day. Planned for the town is 3,000 new oceanfront residential units and 500,000 square feet of new commercial space. A 1.2 billion dollar waterfront redevelopment plan. New units are sized form 545 sq foot studios, to approximately 3,000 square foot four bedroom penthouses. Prices start in the low $400,000.'s and exceed 2 million.

The sale of existing housing is very hot. Real Estate prices have increased steadily year after year. Many investors are cashing out for large profits. There is no shortage of new investors who stand to profit handsomely in the future as the development continues.

Asbury Park is the last great oceanfront city in New Jersey, with over a mile of pristine beach and boardwalk. Master developer Asbury Partners LLC, a partnership of Oceanfront Acquisitions and D. Sass Municipal Finance Partners, New York City, have sold rights to sub developers such as Kushner companies, Metro Homes, and Paramount Homes who plan to build the 3,000 new apartments and townhouse condominiums as well as 500,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space.

Some of the best restaurants in New Jersey have opened in Asbury Park and have been trendsetters in their own right. The Moonstruck Restaurant was one of first large scale business investments in the future of Asbury Park. The owners 2 million plus investment has been hugely successful, and this success has opened the door for more great restaurant to follow, such as Bistro Ole and Carmines Italian. And not to be forgotten are the long time favorites such as Jimmy's Italian and Frank's Deli.

Asbury Park entertainment has always been in the limelight. The Stone Pony has set the stage for great entertainers such as Bruce Springsteen. Shep Pettibone, Madonnas producer and writer, has bought and refurbished the oceanfront Empress Hotel and operates it as upscale gay nightclub and resort. The upscale oceanfront condos and townhouses being built, such as the North Beach and the Esperanza, will have hotel style services - housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry - and will be available through the 24 hour concierge service. Other than the ocean at your doorstep, the Esperanza will have two in house restaurants, a club room, screening rooms, and 23 poolside cabanas each fitted with a daybed, plasma-screen television, wet bar, private safe, and full bathroom. There will also be poolside food service, a dining area, a children's play area and a landscaped lawn.
